The majority of D.A.M.N. events are held at the homes of our members. Our goal is to always leave the home exactly as we found it. Therefore, please go over these "common courtesy" reminders:
- Be sure to bring a towel to each party for hygienic reasons and sit on it wherever you are. Do not sit on other people's towels just because it may be convenient. If there is a hot-tub or a pool, we will remind you to bring two or more towels; one to dry off with and one to sit on. Do not bring any damp or wet towels inside - leave them outside until you are ready to leave.
- We suggest that you bring some type of gym bag to put your clothes in while at the party. If there are a lot of men at the party, underwear, socks, etc. can begin to look alike. Leave all valuables at home or in your car - they would be of no use at a party. Never "borrow" ANYTHING from another person without their specific permission; to do so would mean immediate dismissal from our club
- Treat the host's bathroom(s) even better than you might your own. Please be certain that you leave it in acceptable condition for the next guest. The capacity per bathroom is one man only; we are a non-sexual, drug-free club.
- Smoking is never permitted inside of the host's home. The host will designate a place outside where smoking may be allowed.
- Always use a coaster when putting a beverage down. If one is not available make certain that the surface is non-porous (formica, granite, glass).
- Always clean up after yourself; put your cups, plates, etc. in one of the trash containers provided.
- We are a non-sexual club, so any type of sexual touching is not permitted. This is the responsibility of each person at a party. If you become the target of this inappropriate behavior, please remove yourself from the situation and notify one of the Board members immediately.
